Dubai: Indian textile industry leaders have rolled out the red carpet to investors from the UAE and other parts of the world, urging them to become part of the country’s textile success story.

As part of the ongoing "Textile Week" in the India Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, at the Global Investor Summit, government representatives and industry stakeholders emphasized Dubai’s role as an excellent platform for the Indian textile industry to target the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) ) Market and other markets.

Participants discussed the potential of India's textile industry and deepened contacts with the UAE and the world. The speaker emphasized the strong network between India and the UAE and stated that the UAE has become India's preferred destination due to its strategic location, which explains how the two countries share strong trade and cultural ties.

Vijoy Kumar Singh, Deputy Minister of Textiles of India, said in his inauguration speech: “Dubai offers great potential for the Indian textile industry.
