The 53-year-old multihyphenate was spotted in New York City over the weekend wearing gray knee-length spandex biker shorts while out with her stepdaughter Violet Affleck. Lopez paired her athleisure bottoms with a classic white button-down shirt from Patou. Although the shirt was billowy and oversize, her styling choice gave the spandex shorts a more formal, structured feel. Accessory-wise, Lopez slung a logo Gucci bag across her body and slipped into a pair of white sneakers from Off-White to complete the '90s-inspired 'fit. Brown-lensed sunglasses and large silver hoop earrings topped off the look.
Biker shorts often garner a strong reaction — people typically either like them or skip them. Celebrity fans of the retro trend include Kim Kardashian, Hailey Bieber, and Emily Ratajkowski.
