On Oct. 22, Localworks will be hosting this year’s Trunk-or-Treat. The event will last from 4 to 6 p.m. at The Green (7101 W. 38th Ave.). At this event you can expect children trick-or-treating, a photobooth activity and vouchers for a variety of free items from participating businesses.

Registration is still open, but spots are filling up fast! We want to see your spooktacular creativity! Trunk-or-Treat is a great opportunity for fun and safe trick-or-treating. Register today!

Trunk-or-Treat is a great way to get involved in the community and participate in the Halloween fun! Those who register for a trunk spot will gather at The Green with their trunks open and facing the lanes. We encourage you to dress up your trunk with fall or Halloween decorations. Each trunk is unique, so follow your Halloween heart! Children and families will be stopping at trunks and collecting candy. Please be mindful that it is expected of those with trunks to bring their own candy for trunk-or-treaters; however, we have collected candy donations in case you run out. Participants will be able to go to as many or as few trunks as they would like. This event is also a great opportunity to get to know other families in the community!

This event will be so much more than just collecting candy for the kids! We want you to capture the moment. Localworks is very excited to be working with GlamSpin360 for this year’s Trunk-or-Treat event. Participants at the event will have a fun and unique way to show off their awesome Halloween costumes just like they are at a red carpet event. GlamSpin360 will take a 360-degree video of you and your friends and family. GlamSpin360 does an amazing job capturing the joy of whatever event they attend. You will have immediate access to download any of the videos that are made just for you! This will be a great keepsake for yourself or to share on social media. This activity will have no extra cost.

During the event, Localworks will also be handing out Trunk-or-Treat Cash. We have partnered with seven of Wheat Ridge’s businesses that are generously giving away some of their best products in exchange for your participation in the community!

The participating businesses include: Colorado Brew Plus, West 29th Restaurant & Bar, Little Brazil, Audacity, Stylus and Crate, Clancy’s Irish Pub and Personal Achievement Martial Arts.
