Brussels, the most beautiful city in the world, also happens to be home to one of the most beautiful (and magnificent) palaces in the world.

The Grand Place in Brussels has been talked about since the 12th century and includes buildings representing local and principality authorities and old corporate buildings, centered on a rectangular paved town center. It is an architectural gem, an outstanding and extremely successful example of the unusual blend of Western civilization, art and architectural forms, demonstrating the vitality of this important political and corporate center.

Over the years, this place has maintained its shape, cohesion, and basic Gothic and Renaissance characteristics. It is one of the most picturesque monuments in the world and has been listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1998. The Grand Place is a testament to the prosperity of Brussels. This Nordic commercial city was at the peak of its prosperity and survived a serious attack. It was built by Louis XIV's army in 1695. Today, the Grand Place is a pious representative of the city center and was destroyed by French cannons.

It bears witness to the desire for power and honor of the Brussels bourgeoisie, who chose to restore their town to its former glory instead of reorganizing it in a modern environment like elsewhere.

Due to various factors, the Grand Plaza has become a cultural landmark. Despite fires and attacks over the years, it still maintains a unique appeal. Due to its Gothic and Renaissance characteristics, and gorgeous golden decorations, it is an amazing tourist destination and an absolute must-see for any holiday in Belgium.
