When the Wachowski sisters announced a new Matrix movie, most fans couldn't believe it. After all, the director has repeated this story many times and will remain a closed trilogy. However, here we are, with more characters, more effects, and the legendary couple Neo and Trinity. what is new?

This movie will be launched this month, and we don’t know more about it other than the content shown in the official trailer. As expected, the trailer asked more questions than answers. The clue is in the name: How come Neo and Trinity are still alive? 

However, David Mitchell, one of the screenwriters of the new film, left a thing or two that we want to know when the film has not yet been released. In an interview with a Greek newspaper, Mitchell said that this new movie is not a sequel. 

Instead, it is an independent storyline that blends all three movies. In fact, by watching the trailer, we can see that the time in the story is not linear. In Mitchell's words, the new work will be "beautiful and weird." 

Matrix Resurrections follow some general rules for sequels. For example, it maintains a familiar role and environment, but under different circumstances. This is where the movie stops playing.
